Sunroom Building in Nashville, the ProDeck Way

We’ve been building sunrooms in Nashville long enough to know what homeowners here actually want: a space that earns its keep all year, looks great from the street, and doesn’t feel like an afterthought tacked onto the back of the house. ProDeck Builders Nashville has completed over 20 sunroom projects across Middle Tennessee, and every single one started with a real conversation, not a canned sales pitch.

Before we ever break ground, we sit with you, understand what you’re going for, and put together a free same-day 3D design so you can see exactly what you’re getting before you commit to anything. Our dedicated on-site crew handles the build from start to finish, and our 3-year workmanship warranty means we stand behind what we build, long after the last board is laid.

Nashville weather has a way of testing everything, from your patience in August to your roof in February. A sunroom built the right way gives you a climate-controlled, year-round space that holds up through it all.

What Nashville Homeowners Are Saying About Their Sunrooms

We could talk about our work all day, but our clients say it better. Read through their experiences below and see what it’s actually like to work with ProDeck Builders Nashville.

We worked with Jose at MTZ to get our sunroom redone (from a DIY sunroom a previous owner had built to a properly finished one) and a back patio added where a deck used to be.

There were a number of hiccups (not MTZ’s fault) early on such as permitting/septic issues, and thankfully MTZ was able to help us navigate those and get them straightened out, which would have been a nightmare for us if we’d needed to figure all that out on our own.

We’re very happy with the quality of the work, and friends and family have a lot of nice things to say about the new room and patio when they come over.

We had been worried since we bought our house whether or not it would be worth it to commit to a job like this, but very glad we did and very glad we found MTZ to do the work.

There were a couple of times where maybe communication could have been better, probably on both ends, and particularly through some personnel changes/subcontractor issues, but ultimately the work is of higher quality than we could have hoped for and we’re very happy with the finished product.

Working with ProDeck was a wonderful experience. Jose and Ken came out the very next day after we called for a quote, and Jose was constantly communicating with us about the proposal and any concerns and questions we had throughout the early stages; he would always make time to come out and show us samples or walk us through what he had in mind.

He earned our confidence, and clearly that confidence was well-placed: ProDeck did excellent work, and we absolutely love our new covered deck.

Ken and the crew are hard workers who clearly know what they’re doing, and Molly and Jose are wonderful people to do business with. They made sure we got everything we wanted and that the job was done right.

Couldn’t recommend them more, and we are already recommending them to our friends and family.

How Much Does a Sunroom Cost in Nashville, TN?

Most of our sunroom projects start between $80,000 and $90,000, depending on the size, scope, and the finishes you’re going for. Larger footprints, more complex rooflines, or premium materials will bring the investment up from there.

Examples from past projects to give you a ballpark:

Your project will have its own set of variables, and the cost will reflect that. Reach out with your specifics, and we’ll put together an accurate quote for your home.

Five things will move your deck price up or down:

Staying On Budget and On Time

We know that the moment someone says “construction project,” the mind goes to budget blowouts and timelines that stretch into the next season. We hear that concern a lot, and we take it seriously.
A sunroom addition in the $80,000 to $105,000 range sounds like a big number until you think about what you’re actually getting: a fully finished room, added to your home, that you’ll use every single day for the next 20 years. Break that down, and you’re looking at roughly $10 to $15 a day for a climate-controlled living space that also adds measurable value to your property.
We treat your home like it matters, because it does. Our crew shows up when we say we will, works a clean job site, and wraps up on schedule. Construction always has variables, but the projects that stay on track are those where the contractor respects the homeowner’s time from day one. That’s how we operate, and we leave the space clean when we’re done.

FAQs About Sunroom Building in Nashville, TN

Yes, most sunroom additions in Nashville require a building permit through Metro Nashville’s codes department. We handle all the permitting paperwork on your behalf.
Most of our sunroom projects in Nashville take 4 to 8 weeks from permit approval to completion, depending on size and complexity. We’ll give you a realistic timeline during your consultation and stick to it. Weather and inspections can occasionally add a day or two, but we build that into the schedule so it doesn’t catch anyone off guard.
Absolutely. We build our sunrooms with proper climate control, insulation, and energy-efficient windows so you’re comfortable in all four seasons, not just the pleasant ones in between.
A screened porch lets in fresh air while keeping insects out, but it’s typically not insulated or climate-controlled. A full sunroom is a proper enclosed addition with walls of natural light, real insulation, and year-round temperature control.

Nashville has a way of getting under your skin in the best way. Home to the legendary Ryman Auditorium, where country music history was made and still gets made, and to Centennial Park‘s full-scale replica of the Parthenon, a city landmark that somehow never gets old, Nashville is a place people put roots down and mean it. If you’re one of them, a sunroom built by ProDeck Builders Nashville gives you a way to take in every season this city offers from the comfort of your own home.
